M arvel has risen up to the top making countless blockbusters on the Marvel comics written by Stan Lee. It’s hard to pick 5 best marvel scenes of all time since it’s fair to say that the majority of the Marvel movies have not disappointed and each had its fair share of nail biting fight scenes mixed with humor and emotion. To go over all of them would take a million years, so here are the 5 best Marvel scenes of all time.
In the first Avengers movie, Loki, Thor's evil brother, manages to get the Tesseract, which he planned to take over mankind with. Upon this happening, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D initiates the superhero recruitment plan. Near the end of the battle scene it seems like Loki is about to get away with his crimes until Hawkeye shoots at him with an arrow that blows up.
Loki then falls onto Stark Tower where he is faced by the Hulk who slams him onto the wall. When Loki gets up he yells out ‘stop!’ before going on a rant where he talks about being a god and them being beneath him. This speech was then interrupted by the Hulk picking him up and throwing him onto the floor multiple times before muttering ‘puny god’ and walking away. Not only was this scene absolutely iconic, it was also hilarious and stuck with fans as one of the funniest scenes.
In the movie infinity wars, Thanos captures Gamora and proceeds to kill her to get the Soul Stone. After a while, Nebula escapes from Thanos and asks the Guardians to meet her at Titan, Thanos’s home planet. That's where the Guardians officially meet Peter Parker, Tony Stark and Dr Strange for the first time but mistake them for being Thanos’s men. Quill then asks them where Gamora is to which Tony retorts, “I’ll do you one better, who’s Gamora?”, which ends with Drax replying with “Why is Gamora?”. This scene continues with more witty retorts and side eyes filled with confusion before Thor is brought up. It will forever remain the funniest scene filled with sarcasm for days.
In the end of the movie, The Guardians of the Galaxy, Ronan boasts as he has the power stone in his possession. While he goes on his villainous rant to the people around, celebrating his win, Quill interrupts him by softly singing and dancing. Ronan demands Quill tell him what he is doing to which Quill replies with a “Dance off, bro” and continues to dance and sing.
Later, he reveals that he was just distracting Ronan but by the time Ronan turns, Drax and Rocket blast him with a gun and the power stone goes flying. Quill then jumps to catch it but due to the power, he seems to burn up. With the help of the rest of the crew, the power is shared and they all survive. This scene was endlessly hilarious and no one would’ve seen it go this way.
In Captain America: Civil War, the Avengers are torn apart due to half the team agreeing with the government overseeing and controlling them and the other half wanting to be free to defend the world without government interference. Although this is not the last battle scene in the movie, many can agree it was definitely the most iconic. The witty banter between the members while they fight gives this scene the perfect mixture between action and humor. Due to Hawkeye and Black Widow having to fight despite being best friends and T’challa wanting revenge for his fathers death, this scene had its share of emotion as well.
Admit it, it's impossible to hear those words without getting chills. In Endgame’s final battle, Thanos’s army shows up and the fight seems futile. All the sudden, however, when Captain America turns around he sees Black Panther walk out a portal and along with him the army of Wakanda. Slowly, every single superhero starts to show up through several portals. With the patriotic chants of the Wakandan army and the Avengers theme playing in the background the moment was already made. However, when Captain America with his steely voice said “Avengers… Assemble” it is, without doubt, the best piece of cinematography ever made.
