O ne thing that many people come back to after a very tiring day is movies. Watching the best-animated films of all time has been made easier with platforms like Netflix, because of which more and more people have started using applications like these. The wide variety of films popularized it more. However, with this variety comes hours and hours of trying to find the perfect movie to sit and watch while you eat your food.

In this article, we have mentioned some of the very best animated films of all time. Whether you've already watched them before or are watching them for the first time, these are all films that will leave you content with your choice.

Pinocchio

Anyone who has good taste in movies would undeniably say that Pinocchio tops the list when discussing the best-animated films of all time. Made in 1940, this cinematic masterpiece took the world by storm. Who doesn't remember the young wooden puppet whose nose betrayed him every time he lied?

The movie's plot may seem simple enough; for the puppet to become a real boy, he must prove that he is honest, brave, and generous. However, once you watch the movie, you'll understand that nothing about it is simple. The film has been designed in a way that you will have a rollercoaster of emotions throughout. It's imaginative, beautiful, and heartwarming with one major moral attached to it: don't lie, whether it's to yourself or others.

Spirited Away

You've probably already heard the name Hayao Miyazaki if you've watched Japanese animated movies before. This fantasy movie was also directed by the same genius who directed Princess Mononoke and Howl's Moving Castle. If you were a fan of those two, then give Spirited Away a chance as well. You’ll for sure find it to be highly captivating.

Fantasy, adventure, dream, and metaphor, are some aspects Miyazaki tried to highlight as he followed the life of a 10-year old girl. Her parents are turned into pigs, and she's forced to work in a ghost bathhouse and navigate her way through a multitude of demons and spirits.

Want to join her on her adventure? It's a brilliant movie that won the Academy Award, so there is nothing to lose and everything to gain by experiencing it for yourself.

Beauty And The Beast

An all-time favorite, Beauty and the Beast exceeded all expectations when it first reached its audience. The best part about it is the animated architecture, from Belle's bookstore filled with shelves to the Beast's enormous castle. This was Disney's third attempt at incorporating digital animation in their movies, and they indeed succeeded at it!

Many new generation children might lean towards watching the live-action remake that recently came about. That's a no-go! Make sure to get them to watch this enchanting animated version first, where you get to understand in-depth the relationship between the beautiful Belle and the cursed Beast. Will Belle fall in love with the Beast and help him get rid of his spell? Watch and find out!

Inside Out

Although a psychologist would enjoy this movie quite a lot, there's no reason why you wouldn't either. A more recent movie that came out in 2015, Inside Out, taps into the mind of a young girl and delves into the topic of human feelings like nothing you've ever witnessed before.

If you skimmed through the plot hurriedly, you might think that the movie is not fit for young children. However, we believe otherwise. Through this movie, children can learn more about emotional management and understand the importance of feelings. Five emotions take center stage in the film. These are Joy, Anger, Fear, Disgust, and Sadness. Learning about how your emotions control you can never be a bad thing, so why not have a movie night with this on?

That's all for today, folks! We hope this compilation helped you make a sound choice for an animated film that you do not regret watching. Although there are several best-animated films of all time, the ones we have talked about above have always been labeled favorites. Check them out if you haven't already done so!
