F inding the lowest prices has got to be the best feeling in the world when it comes to shopping. It's akin to hitting the jackpot or finding the northern star as a sailor. Yet, there’s some math to this madness!

To make the process easier for yourself, you first need to ask, “What is the best time to buy large electronics?”

If you're unsure whether you should buy anything now or later, here's a refresher on the best time to buy large electronics throughout the year. Save the big purchases for these special times when the price drops are enormous.

Black Friday

Black Friday 2021 has come and gone, and as you probably know, it was a massive event with some of the hottest discounts of the year. For many, this resulted in a tremendous Christmas shopping season, which resulted in a lot of Christmas morning joy. While it is admirable, we have never been happy to rest on our laurels. That's why we're working hard to make next year's Black Friday deal even better.  Make a note of November 25th for 2022's Black Friday sale in your calendar.

Cyber Monday

Cyber Monday occurs 3 days following Black Friday – or on the Monday that falls after, of course — and focuses on internet sales. Cyber Monday in 2022 is on 28th November, for those looking to make a small note in their phone calendars. In general, technology products prices are lowered more than any other item on Cyber Mondays. Cyber Monday has overtaken Black Friday as the most popular shopping day of the year, with retail sales reaching a new record of $10.8 billion in 2021.

However, total savings were not the only factor to consider. Each day, different tech products get bigger and better deals, and the bargains offered by each merchant also differ.

End of July to Start of August

Computer vendors fight ferociously to get people to buy new technology for the next school year during this "back-to-school" sale. These reductions usually apply to both PCs and Macs. Many shops will offer you a discount if you show your student ID, so don't forget to wave it. Another thing to keep in mind is that new models are released at 3 specific seasons of the year: spring (February to April), back-to-school, and the holiday season. It's a fantastic time to analyze the most up-to-date features of these devices especially when compared to those seen in older versions.

Amazon Prime Day, 16th July

You're in luck if you've been aching to replace your outdated devices. On  Amazon Prime Day 2021, hundreds of electronic devices from names like Toshiba, Apple, and Samsung have had their prices lowered. That's correct, now is the ideal moment to update your laptop, replace your old headphones with a set of Airpods 2, or get a fancy new TV.

Smart TV prices are among the lowest we've ever seen, making now the ideal time to reward yourself and finally replace your outdated television set. A new 24-inch TV may be had for as low as $100, and if you really want to spend on a top-of-the-line model, we recommend this LG 55-Inch alternative. Amazon Prime subscribers have access to 100,000 discounts that were exclusively available to Prime members.

Super Bowl Season, January

If you can't attend the big game, viewing it on a large screen TV is the next best thing. For some of us, that's incentive enough to invest in our first 4K HDR television or upgrade to a 65-inch screen. In the weeks following up to the game, Super Bowl TV bargains are common, with the greatest price decreases on the larger screen sizes.

"While Black Friday will always be the ideal time to purchase any TV," says Michael Bonebright, a consumer analyst at the comparison shopping site DealNews, "early February is also a fine time to be TV shopping." "We observed 39% more TV transactions in February last year than in March," he added.

Boxing Day Sale, December

Boxing Day sales will begin on December 26th, but in the past, some businesses have started their Boxing Day and January deals as early as just before Christmas.

This is a trend, we anticipate, will continue in the year 2022 as well on the internet. We've already seen it happen: in November, a number of UK companies began their Black Friday discounts early. Customers were guaranteed by retailers such as Currys and Amazon that prices would not fall any lower on the day, but that if they did, they would be repaid the difference!  While most Boxing Day discounts will officially begin at midnight on December 26th, we expect to see lots of early Boxing Day offers drop in the days leading up to the holiday in 2021 as well.

Skipping out on the greatest deals and then hearing from family or friends about a terrific bargain you were unaware of may kill your spirit. So we’ve made a list for you to screenshot!
