M illions of people suffer from anxiety, which may have a detrimental influence on their lives. While seeking expert guidance is a good idea, experimenting with certain methods on your own may also be useful. While there are many relaxing games available for everyone to use, the best calming mobile games can bring evidence-based therapies to people who do not have access to specialty care.

Cessabit: The Calming Game

Cessabit is a memory game in which you are given a sequence of lovely, dynamic vector graphics. You'll need to answer numerous MCQ style questions on the visual and its parts after you've had a chance to take everything in. There are no consequences for incorrect responses, and you can always re-examine the picture and engage with it further to uncover the concealed answers.

Prune

Prune is a calm and peaceful app. In the game, you can trim your bonsai tree to any shape or form of your choice. You have to  flick your finger to see superfluous branches fall off your phone screen and into the abyss, thanks to a basic design and simple soundtrack. When life seems to slip out of control, just trim your bonsai with Prune.

Hidden Folks

Hidden Folks is an engaging game in which players must uncover hidden figures and items in a number of black and white scenes. The game is mainly based on detailed drawings revealed at artist Sylvain Tegroeg's graduating art exhibition, before it was created into a mobile game for those battling anxiety by independent game developer Adriaan de Jongh from the Netherlands.

Valley of Monuments

Monument Valley is the place to go if you're looking for some mind-bending reality-warping riddles. It's one of those games where the aesthetics, puzzles, and audio all work together to create a wonderful experience. Simply getting from point A to point B is your goal. To do this, you must move the terrain itself until the routes line up and your little figure is able to cross.

As if you were inside an Escher artwork, the game is full of a continual sense of surprise and awe. The images are stunningly simple, the soundscape is stunning, and the tale is unexpectedly moving. Monument Valley allows you to immerse yourself in this extraordinary environment while traveling through it.

Florence

Florence is a game that isn't like the others. It's from the creators of Monument Valley, another favorite of ours, and it's about falling out of love after you have fallen in love. The story-driven game will only take a few hours of your time, but we're guessing it will stay with you for much longer (especially its excellent soundtrack). To prevent spoilers, we won't go into too much detail, but believe us when we say this one is well worth your time. Check out Journey after you're done if you're using an iPhone or iPad. It's also from the publisher, Annapurna Interactive, and it's another fantastic product.

Kitty Collector, Neko Atsume

This one is available on iOS and Android, and it's littered with kitties(yeah, pun!). Cats are really all anybody needs, so that's great. Neko Atsume: Kitty Collector is a game in which you aim to gather cats. Your goal is to fill your cat book by inviting a variety of cats to your yard.

You achieve this by strewing a variety of toys, food, and beds around the garden. The fact that you only have to check in every now and then is maybe the best aspect of this game. It is not necessary to play it all the time. You just arrange for the cats to have a wonderful time, then return to check if there are any furry visitors.

A Stay-at-Home Game

Staying in bed is the name of the game. There are no clear goals, clocks, or countdowns, and there is no way to win. #SelfCare urges you to treat yourself with kindness and to be aware of your mental health. Each session will leave you feeling serene thanks to gentle reminders (there's really no hurry) and encouraging words (this storm will pass). What’s more, with a few touches, your laundry will sort itself out. MyOasis (Android, iOS) is a similar game with a more subdued female aesthetic.

All in all, anxiety can change your perception of the world around you. It causes you to have a more acute awareness of your surroundings. These are some of the best calming mobile games available, all of which have been researched and designed with the goal of reducing anxiety, relaxing, and calming the player. They may be used alone or in combination with psychotherapy to produce positive results.
